How Lean Optimizes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in the Workplace

March 23, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free
Everyone must be responsible for doing the work every day to reframe and redesign the biases/inequities rooted in policies and practices. The shift in culture and method is accomplished by applying the two pillars of Lean: continuous improvement and demonstrating respect for people, and creating opportunities for participants to learn, share, practice, and grow in a safe environment.
After our session, participants will:
1. Understand the purpose of the #RootCauseRacism® movement and the connection to continuous improvement methodologies (primarily the Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle)
2. Understand a basic construct on bias, stereotypes, and microaggressions
3. Identify ways to link the principles of Lean to your organization’s vision, mission, and DEIA initiatives using the 10 Principles of Lean Leadership.
