The design of an organization is usually done by regrouping people by functions, by specialities: sales, engineering, operation, finance, etc. This way creates silos and numerous NonValue Added Activities, among which are found excessive Lead time, Errors, Communication mistakes, frustrations.
The design of an organisation should be done by the top management team only. To organise the design discussions, the Process Mapping in the Swim Lane format is recommended. Unfortunately, the process review is most of the time delegated to Business Analyst: details could be delegated to BA, but not the design of interactions between the different functions.
The webinar will present 3 cases from telecom organisations that went from functional to Process Based Management leading to outstanding performance.
