Mark Graban is an author, speaker, and consultant who has focused on healthcare improvement for the past 16 years, working around the world with hospitals and health systems. Mark has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the author of books including Lean Hospitals, Healthcare Kaizen, and Measures of Success: React Less, Lead Better, Improve More. Mark started podcasting in 2005 and hosts and produces series including “Lean Blog Interviews,” “My Favorite Mistake,” and “Habitual Excellence.”
